Foshan Dongfang Medical Equipment Manufactory (LTD) was established in 1990. It mainly manufactures wheelchairs and rehabilitation equipments in various kinds.
It has been the leader in wheelchair industry in China. In 2006 the sale reached 200 million RMB (295,000 wheelchairs).
The Company concentrates on the product quality and innovation. In 1999, it was the first domestic wheelchair factory that obtained the 'CE' quality approval. In 2001, it passed the quality system ISO 9001-2000 Authentication by Germany Rhine TUV. In 2003 it passed the Medical Device quality system ISO 13485-2003 by TUV and in the same year, the company got the 510K Registration from the USA FDA. In 2007, it received the 'SG' quality approval from CPSA (Consumer Products Safety Assocaition).
